Connecting Oregon Firearm Owners to Gun Clubs and Ranges
Safe Life Oregon encourages firearm owners to connect with local gun clubs, ranges, and firearm training communities. These spaces offer more than a place to practice, they provide opportunities to build skills, receive safety training, learn from experienced firearm owners, and stay connected to a responsible firearm community.
Regular training and practice help firearm owners become safer, more confident, and better prepared. Gun clubs and ranges also create a sense of connection and accountability, where people can ask questions, learn about secure storage, support one another, and strengthen a culture of safety, responsibility, and suicide prevention across Oregon.

OASR
The Oregon Association of Shooting Ranges supports and represents shooting ranges across the state. They address the challenges that threaten shooting ranges and work to facilitate communication and sharing of experiences between the ranges. They want to ensure that our ranges are preserved for the next generation and beyond. Find their full list of member ranges below.
OSSA/OASR Ranges
The partnership between Oregon State Shooting Association (OSSA) and Oregon Association of Shooting Ranges (OASR) supports and represents shooting ranges across the State of Oregon. OASR assists Member Ranges with range design, membership management, safety, and environmental issues.
ODFW
The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife protects and enhances Oregon’s fish and wildlife, and the habitats they use, for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations is at the heart of what they do.
They support of manage ranges and hunting sites across the state and have resources to support safe hunting and shooting practices.
